Promotional text for the event: A beverage-tasting of the wines, ales, and spirits mentioned in the Shakespearean plays! Have you ever tasted malmsey, bastard, sack, charneco, or rhenish? Have you ever had a comforting caudle or posset? Ever indulged in tickle-brain, double beer, or had small beer for breakfast? How about metheglin or wassail or a gossip's bowl? Well, now's your chance to imbibe these and more! And you'll sample delightful Elizabethan tasties along the way.

Join us for a truly unique evening and support the literary efforts of the young women of Santa Fe—taste a posset at the “Mermaid Tavern,” meet the host of the “Garter Inn,” enjoy some small beer at the “Boar's Head Tavern,” and imbibe with friends at “The Castle Inn.”
